This is the small prologue to the horror visual novel “Dominick: Inheritance”, a solo project I've been developing since 2023.

Step into the dark world of eleven-year-old Charlie Ewald, where home is a cage, in which he is locked away from the outside world. World, which his cruel father swears, is crawling with nameless terrors. Yet every blow and warning weakens Charlie’s faith in those words. When he finally dares to flee, the boy discovers—to his horror—Father wasn’t entirely wrong.

• Cinematic prologue — tight, film-style direction with moving cameras, quick cuts and animated character staging rarely seen in visual novels.

• Branching moral choices — two critical decisions lead to distinct demo endings and set flags for the full game.

• VHS-styled visuals — analogue noise, tracking warps, frame stutters, and other retro effects that blur reality.

• Atmospheric audio — chilling royalty-free tracks by Darren Curtis underscore every whisper and hallway creak.

Looking ahead to full release

• ~ 8 hours of story with intersecting friendship / romance routes that collide with nightmare set-pieces.

• Eleven possible endings, from bittersweet escape to cosmic terror.

• Expanded cast of living characters and restless spirits—every one can be affected by the curse Charlie may unleash.
